The Università della Valle d’Aosta is a young, dynamic university, with firm roots in the Aosta Valley and an eye towards Europe. 

Academic collaborations and international scientific research projects complete the strategic structure and are reflected in teaching.

The expertise of UNIVDA as Scientific Partner for Movement will be primarily granted by the expertise and competences of Prof. Gianni Nuti (Scientific Coordinator) and his collaborator Prof. Manuela Filippa.

Prof Gianni Nuti, PhD in Cognitive and Experimental Psychology in Paris, Master's Degree in Modern Literature in Turin, Diploma at the Conservatory of Alessandria, is Associate Professor of General Didactics and Special Pedagogy and Professor of Pedagogy of Integration at the UNIVDA. His research activity is focused by 1990s on non-verbal (expressive creative) languages in formal/non-formal/informal contexts for inclusion. He deals with inter- and transdisciplinary didactic innovation and has a sound experience in musical pedagogy and didactic.

He is member of the Comitato nazionale per l'apprendimento pratico della musica, and has been editor-in-chief of the magazine Musica Domani (2003-2008) and member of SIEM - Società italiana per l'educazione musicale (2014-2018). Founder and coordinator of a popular music school, he acquired skills in the management of human and professional resources.
