Established in 2001 in Turin, Fondazione per la Scuola is one of Compagnia di San Paolo (FCSP -philanthropic bank-based) Foundation independent operating bodies.
Its main mission is to work with and for the schools of the metropolitan area of Turin (around 1,400,000 inhabitants) and Genoa (836,000 inhab.). It currently works with around 350 schools in the Turin Area (from pre-school to high school). Fondazione per la Scuola is an operative integrates the nature of a research institution with that of a territorial development body in the educational field.
